Hello everyone and happy new year! One of my resolutions in 2026 is to write more, and what better place to do so, than right here on this blog function of the Wunderkind website!
This blog will cover several topics, all related to gaming and education.
- Reviews of Games – these will be focused on bringing attention to games that were made to teach, or perhaps games that aren’t already useful for teaching, but could be
- Reviews of Books – books on game philosophy, game studies, education, or really anything that I might see as relevant!
- Our experiences with Games in the Classroom – I want to provide some real world examples of Wunderkind Games in the classroom. These might be fun stories that occur from playing the games with students, or more hands-on how-tos for your own classroom
- New Game Tools – There are many great educational and game design tools out there, this would be a good location to talk about and share them!
- Game Development Discussions – While working on new games and project, we at Wunderkind Games will write about their progress here. Also a place to talk about game design more generally
- Conference Reports – The team at Wunderkind Games attends many academic conferences in the year. We’ll report what we talk about and find while away here! (Our next one is at LILAC in the UK in March!)
- Any news from Wunderkind Itself – this will be the premiere way to be in the know about Wunderkind is doing and where we’re going
- Anything Else – If there’s anything that we think might be remotely relevant or of interest to those interested in Game Based Learning, we’ll share it here too.

That’s a lot, but probably doesn’t cover everything! My goal is to put out at least one post a month, but the real dream is to do one bi-weekly. My track record for these kinds of things ain’t great, but hey, new year, new me!
Best way to contact me is through my Bluesky @haiirosan.bsky.social Maybe another new year goal is setting up a Wunderkind one!
